To suggest the customer service was well below par would be horribly underselling it. 
My partner and i ordered a iced latte with caramel and a simple mocha, when it came out the syrup of the caramel was just sitting on top of the drink and the coffee was burnt. Now this was no issue, i was approaching the man with the inferiority complex at the front and explained in the nicest way possible it was burnt. Now he did not enjoy this slice of feedback, and begin to tell me i'm wrong and its not burnt ( my pallet must have been playing tricks on me?) where he proceeded to slam down my change and begin to tell me he doesn't have time for  this ( his establishment was empty) and told me to go away..

Toscanis is mainly empty for a reason ladies and gents.. and for good  reason.

My experience was good (for breakfast). Coffee was more than acceptable and the meal was very nice. Don't know where all those bad experiences and reviews came from? 

Seated outside is also really nice Outlook (though that's the same for every place on this stretch :-) ) 

I would come back again.

Very poor quality food. Upset stomach for the next 6 hours. The worst eggs over easy ever. Burned and crispy eggs, the redo wasn't much better. The bread was low grade. The juice was the lowest quality type you can buy.  I wish i read these reviews first. Don't waste your time.

Website said open on Monday until 10pm, so organised 20 people and rang to make booking. Could not understand what they said when they answered the phone and asked if it was Toscani's at Robina.  They hung up on me.  Figured it was an accident so rang again.  They said they are not open Monday.  I said I've organised 20 people because the website said they were open.  He said the website is wrong.  I suggested they should change it because now I've organised 20 people based on that information.  Guess what happened next?  Yep, he hung up again. Had to give 1 star because I couldn't post review without it.  Would have been a big fat ZERO if I could.  These 20 people are now all going to the Groove Train, who were very pleasant to deal with.
