Once the Parrot was an outstanding place to dine. Once the Parrot was a nice place to eat and drink. My experience this time was the worst I have been anywhere on the coast.
Burger buns where cold. I mean cold from storage not toasted or warmed considering they were supposed to be brioche buns.
Very minimal toppings on the pizzas. My partner caeser salad had a cold poached egg and for a main was the size of a side dish. Hardly worth the money. Everything is covered in dust, cutlery, table, condiments, due to the ongoing renovations.  When we arrived under our table was the remains of the lunch service of fried chips and a lot. We were early to dinner so there was no one before us at that table.
Disappointed due to dining many many times in the past.

We watched the game Manchester vs Liverpool, had few beers, the girls that work at the bar need some customer service training, no smiling, no hi.
The girl with the glasses tried to steal 5 dollars from me, even tho on the register was showing 14 dollars return  she gave me 9 and left... I called her after and without me having to say anything,  she knew exactly what the problem was and swapped the 5 dollar note with 10 dollar note.
Maybe if she smiles and enjoys her job she will get tips, so she won't have to steal from potentially intoxicated customers. Other than the bar staff, atmosphere was good.

Went for $10 lunch of steak, salad & chips. Very good value and didn't have to wait long. In large group and arranged seating for us.

New sports bar is Great, nice beer garden area. Must see for any local or passer by, foods not bad either
