Used to love this place, but went back twice and both times the food wouldn't pass a food safety inspection. Told the waiter that the Hainanese Chicken Rice was suspect, he nodded and out it in the bin. Case closed. Avoid at all costs.
Love to go here to get gravy rice with combination meat, good value
Got home to find bloody uncooked chicken.
The duck is excellent, great food overall. Be warned the servings are big : Chef Lai is the best! But the greatest thing about this place, is that I've seen them several times give free food to people in need and homeless people.
My favourite combination of Char Kway Teow and BBQ Pork, definately worth trying good prices and decent sized portions.

Very disappointing. Used to be good but not anymore. When you order salt and pepper squid you expect that to be the main thing in the container. Instead it was 60% gluggy rice, 20% onion, 10% chilli and then a few pieces of inedible rubber. I ordered lots of dishes and the rest were not significantly better.
Great little restaurant. the price is alwasy reasonablt since the first time I come to this restaurant 10 years ago.
pretty good looking but the food is old, taste like expried. However, you’ll get a huge meal here.
Have been coming here for Schezuan Beef on and off for years. Always enjoy this dish. I do agree with most that the service is quite sub-standard. The staff look like they just want to get home and never smile or communicate. I think Gordon Ramsey should pay a visit!
