Story

our chef William Tan is from Johor Bahru and he learnt his cooking skills from his uncle who used to run a seafoods restaurant in Malaysia. His signature dishes include Fish head curry, Herbal Chicken , sambal Kang Kung, Sambal Lala, stringless beans, eggplant claypot , spicy pork belly and many more !

Good food, friendly service. If you looking for a good friendly restaurant near your house with good price. Definitely recommend here. The spring roll a bit smell old oil. Otherwise all good here
We grabbed some takeaway for a celebratory dinner. We ordered online and picked it up. There were size options for each dish which was nice. The food wasn't the best. I didn't particularly like the fried soft noodles due to their flavour and the noodles breaking up into smaller pieces. The spicy pork was nice as was the garlic chicken. The dishes weren't as tasty as in other places I've tried.
Good food good service. Love the sweet and sour pork. The crunch remains even with the sauce. Sizzling tofu is quite average in my opinion, I think some crispy bits such as nuts or even a burst of salted fish can compliment better. Price wise is on the higher side. Will we come back again? Yes we will, as I’m keen to try everything else on the menu.
Since moving from their Parkwood place into Coogee I always wanted to come down and try it as it was much closer to home. Had good memories of the place back when it was in Parkwood. Well It is set in a small cozy place with pretty good service. The presentation of the food was good. But the food was pretty average. I mean it wasn’t bad but when I go out and eat I like real tasty, party in your mouth kind of sensations and unfortunately overall it wasn’t. The sizzling tofu, Kung pao beef, and prawns and vegetable in garlic sauce were their best dishes on the night. The fried stuff was average, the fried rice was pretty average as well. Pity as wanted this place to do well but it fell short.
Nice food and service, love the burnt taste char kuay teow and chilli hot laksa. We will be back to try the sizzling hot plate tofu!
AMAZING FOOD I love it there it makes me feel like home and I honestly couldn't live without it the atmosphere is nice and so is the staff. They give very generous portions for the price and the food comes very fast. They have vegan options as well for the vegan lovers

Tried the vegan menu and found the food way too salty. Had take away majority of the fried rice so we can mix it with plain rice at home so it doesn’t go to waste! Portions are a good size. Overall too much mock meat for us. Warm Teh Terik didn’t suit my taste buds. Approachable staff as they were friendly.
We came to this Chinese Malaysian restaurant for Chinese New Year Celebration, the food delicious with reasonable price and friendly service. I love the ice cream with red bean pancake and ice chendol in this place. One of our favourite restaurant.
Laksa was okay but chicken texture was bit funny. Also yellow noddle was bit undercooked. Hofun was burned. It was not just little bit... it was bad. Food was over all 3 stars. One more thing that I gave 2 stars because waitress was rude.
