My family and I two adults, one teen stayed here for one night, to attend a family event nearby.nnI travel extensively for work, so I experience stays at a wide range of hotels across the country. This hotel is perfect for a short stay and I would highly recommend it for solo travellers, couples and families.nnThe best features:nn- 15 minutes walk from the domestic terminaln- Clean, modern and functional roomsn- Option of soft or firm pillows on a comfy bedn- Quiet rooms, despite locationn- 15 minutes walk from multiple eateries and small supermarketsn- Great selection of food and drink options for breakfastn- Easy check-in/check-outnnA special mention must go to Harry. We were warmly greeted by Harry at reception, who kindly arranged an early check-in for us, which was very much appreciated. His customer service is 10/10, and he is an absolute asset to the hotel. We also came across other very friendly staff during our short stay, however Harry is an absolute star.
We had a fantastic 4 nights stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, house keeping ladies were great, kitchen staff were great. The free buffet breakfast was so good and very convenient for us travelling with children. Our only fault was that the beds were a little hard and we woke up a bit stiff each day but the rooms were really lovely and modern. Close to the airport so we could walk. There is a bus stop outside and a train station is about a 10min walk.
Great hotel, easy walking distance to local eateries. Very pleasant staff. Great breakfast included in our tariff, would stay there again in a heartbeat. Easy transfer for international flight next day. Superb value for money. Maria kitchen staff thumbs up to you.
Why would anyone design a room with an opaque wall between the bathroom and room? The lights in the bathroom lights up the entire room. The night we stayed, there was no hot water. The breakfast starts too late for early morning travelers. This is an airport hotel, presumably with travelers who may be staying prior to departing, with early departures. Proximity to the airport is great, but the shuttle is $12/person, each way, and only runs every 40 minutes. Get a taxi or Uber. And for an area with hotels, there are very few, if any, casual restaurants.
We stayed close to airport for our last night. It was a very nice hotel room. Didn't love the shuttle option. We instead opted to walk to Domestic and take Free Transfer Bus to International. It worked great. We probably would've been ok staying until free breakfast was available, but didn't want to take any chances, so we didn't eat breakfast. Didn't really have a lot of time, but there is plenty nearby, especially if you still have some energy to walk : Went to Sydney Park, unfortunately dark. Got some food, showered and slept great.
