Average place, cabins were clean but living space small and hotplates did not work, had to walk down to the camp kitchen to make dinner.

Nice campground, well maintained. Only negative is that there's nothing much within walking distance; no beach/etc.

Sites are very uneven felt like were pushed right to the back of the park even with all our levellers we could not get even so shower water would not flow correctly would not recommend

On Friday we finally arrived at Hillcrest cabin park, half hour late. As we got a flat tyre about 10k out, with no reception to let them know we would be late arriving the next morning,I went up to the reception first thing in the morn, she googled and rang up for me to get it fixed with no avail.so great I thought can't get it fixed to Mon. Wanting to show my best friend around the area, the owner did not know me from a bar of soap offered me her car for the day, I thought about it for a bit, and said only if you don't mind that would be great, I could not thank her enough, so yes staff very helpful, going out of her way to let me borrow her car, thanks again
