Story

Welcome to the Heritage Caravan Park, Alice Springs. Under new ownership since December 2015, we are undertaking some fresh changes to make your stay more enjoyable. Cabin, amenity block and swimming pool upgrades underway. Come and see the changes for yourself.

Mission

To provide comfortable accommodation for all guests and provide a great base to explore the Red Centre and all it has to offer.

We stayed for a month with the old Mangers who were friendly and fabulous and attentive to the parks visitors and facilities. Returned for a month with the new management, whom are there atm... and so much changed in such a small period of time. 
They were no longer attentive to the grounds and facilities and it showed. 
The kitchen was overrun with dead bugs and ants so you couldn't get to the sink. The mouse came out to clean up the mess that they weren't.
The pool turned cloudy with hundreds of bugs within a week of the new managers. It was slimy and slippery on the bottom, once a delight on the hot summer days became a health hazard.
The toilets were no longer looked after and people coming straight from the pool in them left trails of dirt throughout the showers and it stayed that way for days. Also the toilet paper and soap would run out without being replaced.
The once green grass was getting drier n dustier day by day as the previous owners would water sections daily the new management didn't bother. Or if they did put a sprinkler on it was forgotten about and left in the same spot for days.
The campers that were there for over two weeks were asked to leave. These people were friendly, clean and tidy and paying their rent. Surely during the quiet season you want campers on plots?? Apparently not under new management, they did not want to do any of the work previously undertaken by the previous managers.
Very sad to see as this was an oasis of a caravan park in Alice Springs. We were delighted to stay there n enjoy its simple but clean n useful facilities. 
If you are looking for a friendly van park, this is no longer one.

Nice place, shady sites. Excellent dog friendly park, with a section of fenced area for off-leash play for dogs. Clean amenities

The owner Was a rude nasty man. Got moved around a lot. Didn't feel good staying there. The worst place I've ever stayed at.

Dirty kitchen, slime in the pool , absolutely no security which is a must for Alice . was here last year and it was in much better state.

Service is excellent. A brilliant place to stay with kids and/or dogs. Owners have excellent local knowledge for vehicle servicing and repairs also.
