Gave up waiting for someone to appear to allocate us a table as sign asked. Eventually grabbed our own menus and table. Ordered the smoked platter for two...$80. pulled pork and Texan spiced brisket both bland, chicken wings dry....beef sausages lovely as was 'slaw, wedges and corn. No where near worth the money...a huge disappointment...never saw staff again
Loved this place, staff friendly and the food was excellent. Went for lunch one day, then went back the next as it was so good.
I got the chicken parmigiana. It wasn't good, felt very dry. Definitely not worth the 26 dollars. My partner got the 6 buffalo chicken wings for 14 dollars which also didn't taste good. The quality of the food definitely has to improve. The plus was the level of customer service. They were very attentive and even replaced my corn cob with more brocolli as i didn't like how the corn tasted.
Here on a public holiday and there’s a 12.5%surcharge. I get this and happy with that. However I don’t expect to wait 45 minutes for a single bowl of wedges and that’s when I asked where they were. Other tables around us had been waiting for long periods of time for their meals. Again I get that we are busier on public holidays. So why not put staff on to accommodate. Your charging us for them ‍ I’ve only been here once since opened and my experience then was pretty much the same. Disappointing
Terrible service. One meal was served and was almost finished before the others arrived. I ordered a burger with no bum or chips but wanted an egg. I was charged full price for the burger plus $3 extra for the egg. I have always been able to add an egg for free at other venues due to not consuming the bun or chips. This place has young staff who show you your table and that's the end of it. Paying top prices for the food but not having table service other than having your food dumped in front of you is very poor. As a visitor to your town I was looking forward to trying out a local pub but unfortunately I seem to have chosen the wrong one.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THE BRIDGE HOTEL, ECHUCA!!!! We were a group of five who arrived on a Friday night at 6.30pm, we ordered our drinks and meals promptly. Our meals were literally thrown in front of us within 10 minutes and we were told the bar was closing. Shortly thereafter, the waitress started presenting to the table repeatedly asking to take our plates, despite the obvious fact that we were still eating. Then within moments of finishing our meal, another member of staff came and turned the heater off and advised the lights would soon be turned off as well – this was at 8pm, the website states the hotel is open until 11pm. We were quiet and respectful patrons who had just spent $200+ at this venue however we were made to feel very, very unwelcome. On our way out I asked if I could speak to the manager, the manager was Kelly - see below the staff member who came in and turned the heater off. When I advised that I would be posting a negative review Kelly became verbally abusive and I was then physically assaulted by her as we were leaving the venue. As a result of Kelly’s verbal and physical abusive, WE called the police who attended the venue to address the situation. Having now seen previous reviews, I can see this type of RUDE, OFFENSIVE AND ANTI-SOCIAL behaviour is typical from the staff at this hotel. There are more deserving businesses in Echuca, do not waste your time or money at the Bridge Hotel!!
Great outdoor space, fantastic burger and ginger orange cider, friendly staff and right next to the Port. Well done guys! Vegetarian options: And gluten free options too
Went to stop in here for a drink on my last trip to Echuca. Didn't even get to the door to have someone come out abruptly tell us they were closed. Could have been a little more friendly. Still could not work out why they would be closed before 4pm on a Sunday afternoon considering that normlly the weekends would be the most popular times in Echuca.
A great location right next to the old warf and Port of Echuca. Service and friendliness was not as good as you would normally receive in a country town pub but was ok.
Came here this morning for some early lunch and although the customer service was lovely... the food wasn't. The nachos just tasted like the kind you make at family Mexican night with every thing bought from Coles the Salsa was store bought, you can tell. The guac was good though. The chicken burger was also a but lacking in flavour but the chips were quite good so that was a bonus.
