Harvey Norman can be a bit hit and miss with service. They’ll usually match another stores advertised price rather than let you walk.

Different areas within the store are essentially working as different franchises under the one roof. 

They don’t seem heavily motivated to provide the level of service that ensures you buy before you walk. 

Nicely laid out store. Just needs a bit of a staff shuffle/tweak here and there. 

Kitchen appliances and TV areas usually pretty good for service. Shame it’s not across the whole store. 

Can take or leave them.

NEED A LAUGH READ HERE NOW !!!!!!!!What a Joke these salesman in this store are.I rang the heater department on 12/04/2018 advised what 2 heaters I wished to come in on Thursday night to look at and buy.I have just had a cancer cut from my foot for so needed to get in and out ASAP.Arrived and NO one knew any thing about this.Waited around for 20-30 mins and finally had a salesman show me.I bought both.Giving the benefit of the doubt I seen a Samsung 55" TV that I liked.The salesman proceeded to give me the "BEST DEAL" $1145 including a $200 4 year warranty for a special price $150.I said thanks and I would be in there 4.30 pm Sunday afternoon for this deal.In the meantime today my wife rang Myer Robina and same TV advertised $899 with an extra $129 for the extended 4 yr Warranty.We have since purchased the one from Myer.The kicker is: My Wife rang first to arrange the deal from Harvey Norman Browns Plains and was told sorry SOLD OUT. Again what a Joke.If you would like this type of service Good Luck.I will never purchase a nut or bolt from these unscrupulous dealers BEWARE HARVEY NORMAN BROWN PLAINS What a Joke !!!!!!I am giving a 1 Rating because I can not give ZERO.!!!!! ...........................................Just had the Manager Matt call me and try to tell me how I was not correct He is an even "BIGGER JOKE "..............................................Get your s..t together Mate !!!!!!!

We have found this store to be pretty reasonable in price, weve spent in excess of $8500 here at the Browns Plains store in the last 5 months on a new bed, tv and fridge and Im as tight as you can get. I will always search high and low for the best prices on the items we are after and have found this store to be very good. As always we push for every dollar we can get off and they are happy to haggle and play on pricing. Dont be shy to ask for a better price as its your hard earned cash so make it work for you. The store is tidy and clean so yeh we are giving them 5 stars for quality, cleanliness, nice and happy to talk to staff, great back staff at the pickup area as they are always happy and very helpful, and most of all pricing. I have no affiliation with Harvey Norman just want to give a good report where it deserves and Browns Plains store deserves it from our experiences. Thank you

We’ve spent an fortune with this store! After care service is appalling, was rudely spoken to by a staff member called ‘Chris’
In the tv department, worst customer service iv ever received! 4 days and still waiting on the manger to call me back!! 
We will never be stepping foot in this store again.. 
Disgustingly disappointed .......
