Excellent! Cheers. Happened to be in the area and popped in for some breaky and a coffee. Poached eggs on sourdough with bacon and an oat latte. I was quite pleased with the meal and the coffee. The person next to me had the Harvest Breakfast which looked fantastic. It looked just a bit big for me. Next time.
Nice friendly staff and service with a great variety of offerings on the menu of Harvest Food Store. Great for a coffee break also and a Soup, if it's a cold day weather wise. Toasties and Smoothies are also handy for the quick snack attack! P
Yummy! Fresh and friendly … We had Herbie eggs and the ccc corn fritters with salmon - both excellent. Good coffee. We will return
Harvest is a go-to for us! Friendly staff, delicious food and best of all has options for our various diet restrictions. Options for dairy free, gluten free & vegan, all labeled. It’s nice not having to ask what’s in things or make special requests. A+++
Very friendly. Helped us figure out what menu items matched the strict dietary restrictions of one of the people in our party. Fast service, nice food and atmosphere. Dietary restrictions: Had plenty of vegan, GF and other more specific requirements available.
Stumbled across this place again since it's makeover a few years ago. What was original an organic store is still that but more. Located centrally in Fairfield with great parking out the front 1 hour limit, this is a fabulous place to buy your organic product. At the rear of the store as you can see from my photos there are fresh fruit and veggies, dairy products, nuts and grains and so much more. The front of the store is a cafe which is fun and funky. Love the little stand for boomerang bags and reusable cups. This should be standard in all cafes these days. Two of us ordered brunch with my poached eggs and avocado with halloumi added on the side despite it not being on the menu thank you for that little extra touch and my friend had buckwheat pancakes that she said were delicious. Portion sizes generous. The menu is good, not overwhelming which is nice. Plus the specials board helps with what is available for the day. If you wanted a coffee on the go or perhaps something to soothe you sweet or savoury tooth - then there is a cabinet filled with delights. Staff were lovely, helpful and nothing as too much trouble. Never underestimate the value of having people who are happy to help you out, quick with service or even just a friendly smile. Kid friendly. Wheelchair friendly. Toilets at the rear. Will return.
Curiosity got the better of me, so it was only a matter of time before I breakfasted at Harvest. Be back soon. I had porridge and fruit toast, cappuccino and hot chocolate.
Small but friendly place which has some organic grocery items to purchase, serves decent food. Had the chilli scramble, coffee and chai latte. The chilli scramble wasn't very spicy, but the eggs were cooked well, the pickle salad was a nice counterpoint. Menu isn't too extensive, but has sweet and savoury options.
Asked if they were still open and if I could have a seat. Bought a coffee it was great. One minute The owner asked me to leave since they were closing, he started putting the chairs up around me- a not so subtle and very rude way of kicking out a customer. Don’t bother, there’s other lovely cafes up and down station st.
Had the corn fritters.. meh, sounds nice, smoked salmon, acodado, beetroot puré, poached egg... the fritters I'm sure we're reheated, the edges were hard and chewy. Asked for poached egg medium, came out extra runny. Could have been much nicer.., disappointing!
