$48 for two, eggs on toast, coffee and a vanilla slice. I’ve only had vanilla slices a handful times in my life which most turned to be stale but this vanilla slice was perfect and flaky, you could cut it with a spoon.nnI mean it’d be nice to have two pieces of toasts for that amount of eggs but I guess this is their menu…nnLovely atmosphere when the weather is sunny and warm, would recommend going there before 11 am to beat the crowd.
This place is so reliable … no matter the occasion. I have been here many times, often with friends in tow.nnToday my sister and I had a treat following our 12 km walk to Studley Park Boathouse and back.nnIt’s a great walk.nnFairfield Park Boathouse is a great place to savour on a weekday when everyone is at work, especially after a long walk.
Beautiful cafe tucked away in the nature. Very rustic and charming vibe. Great views of the Yarra river. Lovely place for walks. Amazing food and lovely service. Children friendly.
This is one of my favourite places to chill, my friend and I ordered the flourless orange cake which was delicious. I love their menu but expect “on the high” prices. It’s in a wonderful setting alongside the Yarra river to enjoy with lots of outdoor tables and all along. Such a delightful boathouse for the whole family
Odd service model for a quiet weekday morning order at counter and awkwardly wait despite there being enough staff to deliver food to a table? Especially with the average age of guests being 70+ years struggling with trays of hot coffee/food. Completely understand for a weekend but when your staff are standing around around, perhaps offer a higher level of service for the 10 guests you have?nScones were better than most venues.nBeautiful views, and the atmosphere was peaceful until the arrival of a loud, shouting school group toward the end of our visit.
