I’ve been staying here quite a few times since about 2012. In this time I think the park improves each time. Everything you need is there. Small shop, friendly staff. Front office has items to buy like maps , art and books. Shower blocks always to a good standard. Staff have always been really accommodating and you don’t feel like they hate their job like lots of other places. I’ve stayed in tent sites, budget cabins and beach view cottages and I have been very happy. If you find yourself unimpressed here then stay in the city and go to the Ritz or something. If you like the beach, nature and getting back to basics then this is for you.
Great staff and excellent location. No phone reception but I think that adds to the experience. Everyone seemed friendly. Definitely worth wasting a few days here to get away from the city.
Good facilities, some camp spots are very private and secluded , protected by the trees. The beach is beautiful.
We had best www and wifi free holiday made few light paintings in the dark instead with phones and glow sticks
Our stay here was short but we enjoyed every bit of it. We had a small camp site just 50 to 100m away from the beach. We only saw just 1 Manta ray because of the strong waves, but the views and the beach made it all worth it. We also did a short hike at the side of the beach hill where you will see stunning views as well.
Very shady camping areas and close to the beach were sting rays hangout right next to the beach! We have high roof camper and had plenty of space to navigate and park under the shady trees on a level site. Just let the friendly staff know the dimensions of your setup when booking so they can find you the best fit.
Facilities are first rate, the food van on-site is excellent. Beach access is great and sites were clean. Only issues are other noisy patrons for early sleepers, park was very quiet after 10pm.
Do yourself a favor book in here great place to explore the Cape to Cape. Clean, quiet and sooo relaxing.
Really liked this caravan park. Large spaces for my RV, clean and modern facilities. The staff were really helpful as I changed my dates several times, and they were very accomodating! Just a short stroll from the beautiful Hamelin Beach too, There's no phone signal at the site but treat this as a break from your phone/laptop! if you walk to the beach there is reception!. I'd definately go back again :
What a lovely spot! Gorgeous beach, beautiful, well maintained powered sites with lots of shelter, trees and grass plus adorable wild rabbits!. Staff are very friendly. We had a great weekend and will definitely be going back.
