We recently stayed at Beachlands for 5 nights and had our grandchildren stay with us for a night. The facilities for children were great as was the camp kitchen and toilet blocks. Unfortunately we wouldn't stay there again as around our site there were 6 dogs, three of which were directly at the back of our van, 1 next door and 2 to the back. When I checked the rules for dogs on the website it stated 1 dog per site. The 3 directly behind our van were 1 large Labrador and 2 border collies. They also used this area for their toileting. The border collies barked every time someone walked past with their dog and the park owners chatted the dog owners once in the 5 days. A suggestion would be to put the non dog owners in a separate area away from the people who bring their dogs.

We stayed just before Christmas and had such a great time. Staff were helpful and friendly, texting us to let us know that our room was available early, and giving us plenty of tips for places to eat out. Our kids particularly loved the pool, which was heated to the perfect temperature - not too hot, not too cold, just right for two hours of swimming and splashing. The accommodation was perfect for our family of four - everything is nice quality, super clean and they have black out blinds which helped the kids sleep in a bit. We'll recommend it to friends!

Loved it! Beautiful setting, close to everything. Clean, well kept facilities and great for kids. Lots of families, quiet by 10pm. Dogs were all polite and owners responsible.

Wonderful place for the kids. Facilities are 1st class, 5 min walk to one of the best beaches in the world. Will stay there over and over again.
