Lovely break for long drives! We were here end-March, a little too early for the autumn foliage, which was a pity, but the park was peaceful and pleasant- more pleasant under the shade on a hot day, obviously!

The valley was originally one of the pioneer farms in the district. It is now a community-managed arboretum and park, with vast collections of both Australian native and overseas trees. Walk, play, bbq, or just sit and enjoy. Beautiful at any time of year.

We stopped here on our way to donnelly river. Nice undercover area for a short stay.

I love this place during Autumn! Being there makes this American girl happy. Autumn has always been my favorite time of the year because of the beautiful colors, and this place is a wonderful experience of the season I miss so much :)
