Pleasantly surprised, booked cabin for 4 plus pet. Very clean, freshly painted, nice carpet, beds comfy, white sheets/white towels, everything provided in the kitchen. Nice little balcony with seating. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Would stay again, very central to everything:
We had 4 nights booked here for an unpowered site. Unfortunately we just did not feel safe and decided to cancel and get a refund for the other 3 nights. Great location and bathrooms were clean it’s just not safe.
We stayed in one of the new apartments over looking the water. They were only built in April but they were disgusting. They were so run down and so dirty. I will never stay here again. The quilt had blood spots all over it. I complained and the lady said it’s probably washed. Well that’s not good enough. Throw it away I bet you wouldn’t like to sleep under it. There was wee running down the toilet door. Red splotches on the wall in the bedroom. The whole place was filthy. Runs down all the walls. Skirting boards gross. Hair clumps on the floor and when we moved the couch the floor was black. Not impressed at all. I complained and the lady said they only get so much time to clean. So the park makes lots of money and they don’t really care.
Couple of problems with our 2 night stay. In site 12 powered camp site, very close to the road. Traffic went up and down all night so couldn't sleep. Could also hear noise through the night from heavy machinery, I'm guessing the port. Kids screaming for an hour at 3am. Also power wasn't working. Checked out after the first night and was refunded for the second night due to power issue. Not the site for us due to the noise.
Great place to stop in Bunbury. 15 minute walk along the river to the Town centre and restaurants, 5 minute walk across the road to the beach for coffee, swim or lunch at one of the cafes. This park has everything from a swimming pool to electric bikes. Nice bitumen sites with shade matting for you annexe. The ensuites are large and fairly modern.
