We stayed at an ensuite caravan standnIt is one of the cleanest and well presented parks I have stayed in yet.nStaff are friendly and very accomodating and the park does not have Rif-raf staying there partying till all hours of the night.nWe will definitely be staying more often at this parknGreat restaurants nearby and the dolphin park across the road, we can not find any fault with this park
Fabulous caravan park.nDirectly across the road from the beach, the park offers something for everyone.nWith 3 different pools, a jumping pillow, playground and a fantastic bike track, this park is super family friendly.nEasy walking distance to town with its many bars and eateries,plus a bar/ cafe just across the road, there’s plenty for adults too.nThe park is very well maintained, the amenities are clean with instant hot water and the sites are spacious and shady.
The park is beautiful with easy access to the City, beaches etc.nQuite sandy with double G’s and thick with ants in the section we were, Apparently this section is being upgraded shortly. But we still loved our stay and will return again one day. Sylvia from the office was lovely and helpful.
Very High cost but low service and basic facilities.nPaid $140 per night for a campsite.nThe bathrooms were ok.nCamp kitchen along way from the campsite and very basic not even a kettle provided had to make tea and coffee in the microwave.nWent and got all set up at BBQ but then it didn't work.nNo bins provided nearby either had to walk 500m to big full skip bin. Didn't see recycling one.nAsked staff member for help with something they didn't help and were rude.nDefinitely don't value or want their campsite guests.
We stayed for 2 nights in a Superior 2 Bedroom Unit over the school holidays and unfortunately had several issues that impacted our stay.nnMaintenance:nn* The lounge room TV remote had a broken back, making it difficult to use.n* The bedroom TV was not connected to Wi-Fi and we couldn’t get it working during our stay.nnCleanliness on arrival:nn* Gummy lollies left on the decking.n* Dirt and cereal on the lounge room floor.n* Marks on the toilet wall, with visible dust and dirt around the floor, sink and bin area.n* Noticeable dust build-up on surfaces, including skirting boards and tiles.n* Bunk bed mattress protectors were heavily stained, and the beds were not fully made on arrival.nnDuring our stay we also noticed our feet were getting dirty indoors, even after showering and not going outside. When we looked closer, the flooring under furniture was much lighter than the exposed areas, suggesting a significant build-up of dirt. We used the provided mop on a small section of the lounge room floor and the amount of dirt lifted and the colour of the water indicated the floors hadn’t been properly deep cleaned for some time. Photos were taken.nnAnother concern was the caravan sewage disposal point being located very close to the BBQ and dining area. The smell was noticeable when preparing food, and the only access path required walking directly past it.nnAfter our stay, we emailed this feedback to the accommodation but received no response. We followed up multiple times and were advised the park manager was on leave, however even after waiting and following up again, we still have not received any response. This lack of communication has been very disappointing.
