First and probably last time we will stay.nnDefinitely not a destination caravan park for a few reasons.nnGood parts were how close it is to town and the friendly service we had checking in from staff.nnThe facilities are average at best, there was a first come first serve means for powered sites and as we have young kids it would be nice if most powered sites had maintained grassy areas.nnThe abulition facilities need good cleaning, cobwebs, old wasp nests everywhere. Half the soap dispensers didnt have any soap and the whole time we were there it didn't look like any bins were emptied. Most of the door knobs and handles were dinky and even when you shut them they'd open.nnThe fact the long term residence is very close to where you park up is uncomfortable.nnAs parents to young children it is definitely not a park for families, no family facilities like even a simple playground.nnUnfortunately this place needs alot more upgrading and revamping, good for a stop in like late check in leaving for your next destination the next day but would suggest to book elsewhere for long term stays
Good price. Amenities need some tlc but were clean. Sites were roomy and need some upgrades. Only concern was the large gum trees with the storm but caused no issues. Will be back
This was a nice quiet place to stay, and very convenient to all the town has to offer. We stayed on a powered site, on a well kept grassed area. The facilities are dsted but clean. Laundry has new machines $5 for washer and same for drier.
Ive been here v for a few months it's quiet well maintained good people i charge good price all in all a good caravan parks
Really enjoyed our stay at Harvey Caravan parknYou can see they are doing some improvements at the park. Ablution blocks clean and loved that they have rubber Mats and a towel on the entry so the floor of the ablution blocks dont get muddy from people coming and going , more caravan parks definitely need to do this...camp kitchen large and clean.nLots of long term caravans / residents but they were all quiet when we were there.nFriendly lady checked us in and we could choose where we wanted to park our van for the weekend.nHarvey is a quaint town and will definitely come back with friends in the warmer months. Thanks for the great experience.
