Gun World Australia is a large gun shop located at Hillcrest in Brisbane's Western Suburbs. Gun World was first established in 2015 to service the Queensland firearms market. Gun World aims to provide quality service and support whilst still stocking a large selection of rifles, handguns and shotguns.

They seem to be wanting to turn away business... bizarre.
I called wanting to purchase six magazines for an uncommon rifle/calibre, and queried the capacity  listed on the website (3 rounds) as it appeared incorrect (should be 4). I was told that there was one in stock at the warehouse, so I asked if they could confirm the capacity with the distributor and was asked "what did I want them to do? go and look at the capacity in the warehouse?". Well, yes, actually... they could do that. Or, given we were talking about a $1k+ order, perhaps they could just check to make sure there's not a typo on their listing (it's possible that the magazine is for another line of rifles, and they're not interchangeable). I can't decide whether they guy was incompetent, sexist,   or just a dick. Fortunately, my local shop is more than happy to facilitate an order from the US (and guess what? it's going to cost me about a third the price including shipping).

Before coming to Gun World, I only knew so much about firearms as a new shooter, Evan was quick to assist and patient enough to deal with the usual puzzling questions until I could meet him on a common ground to discuss this hobbie more fruitfully. I have come to know Evan as an outstanding salesman adamant on finding the right tool for everyone , and while I have evaded his subtle but elite marketing skill until now, I'm proud to say that he sold me one of my dream rifles. I look forward to more business with Gun World and highly recommend chatting to Evan for all your firearms related needs. Went in with a friend who was picking up their new rifle, saw how helpful and friendly these guys are first-hand. Had a great chat to Evan about handguns, and he was incredibly informative for someone looking to get into the sport. Thanks!

I recently purchased a custom Beretta 692 from Dutch at Gunworld, and what can I say!. This was my first purchase from Gunworld, and it was nothing short of fantastic. Dutch spent quality time to discuss  my questions, giving only great advice with no pushy tactics. The ETA on the Beretta itself was 3 weeks, but the actual arrival time was closer to 7 days and all the custom setup was perfect. Well done Dutch, well done Gunworld. See you soon.

Couldn't be disappointed in the after sales service because there was none.   The person who sold me an unsuitable product didn't want to know me when I went back in the store a few hours later.  I was fobbed off with a lame excuse.  Perhaps it's time the ACCC reminded these people of their legal obligations to consumers.
