While the food is good here, I’m really disappointed that they still use plastic bags for takeaway. While all my other favourite takeaways have switched to paper bags, Gu Xiang still hasn’t - So disappointed. I hardly order from now because of this.
For Malaysians who missed food from home, this restaurant is a place to go. Great menu, food taste authentic too! Highly recommended
I've been here a couple of times and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food is pretty tasty and there's a good variety on the menu. The service was super quick, which is always a good thing. Prices aren't too bad and are about the same for similar food locally. Will probably be back at some point.
Good food, reasonable prices, friendly staff.
First time eating here and tried the pig trotter with a bowl of rice. It's served hot and the fume of the boiled spices draws my appetite a lot. Good to eat in cold Auckland weather.

Come here quite often for lunch breaks with workmates. The salted fish fried rice is very tasty, especially with the homemade sambal which is fantastic. Also love the Singapore noodles.
Nice traditional Malaysia food and value.Always teeming at dinner time.
