Green Bean Cafe

It seems the venue has new owners who, while very nice, seem new to hospitality. Their understanding of gluten free was very poor as they gave us normal bread instead and upon realising their mistake changed it over straight away but left the old eggs with the breadcrumbs still attached, as an offer of apology they gave us free gluten free cake. This leads me to the food the breakfast I had was almost inedible as the quality of ingredients and cooking was very poor, although the lamb sausage and bacon were good the tomato, mushrooms and avocado were very poor , and the gluten free cake was tasteless and generally horrible. In summation the staff tried very hard to be accommodating but lacked industry experience and understanding and the food was not worth paying for, you can do better at home.

iv been to the cafe green bean many times i do like the food coffee and atmosphere if i were to complain about anything it would be how it had changed so much i do like the new owners however i feel they have changed the place from a local more Belgrave feel cafe to a wanna be inner city cafe however the new look does not reflect back on the food or the coffee and other beverages served the wide range of food and drinks makes my taste buds water but the only down side is its a little pricey as i have noticed but other then that i think cafe green bean is a fantastic place to get a tasty meal and a range of different beverages to drink :
