Hadn't been to this store for years. Has a huge range of BBQs , smokers and heaters. Ben is one of the most helpful sales people you could meet. Nothing is too much effort for he is passionate about his company and products. A very pleasant experience thanks Ben.

I should have gone to Mr Stoves!!!! I ended up calling Mr Stoves for help and advice after it became obvious GCF and B were not going to help me resolve the problems with the Nelson Invicta I had purchased from them 6 weeks earlier and then had installed by one of their preferred installers. Mr Stoves has the same selection of fireplaces as GCF and B, but they are cheaper, they organise everything to do with the installation (and will install your fireplace in half the time - you won't be waiting four weeks!), they are polite, very knowledgeable and helpful, and should you have a problem you can always call the National Home Heating Association of which Mr Stoves is a member, but GCF and B isn't. For people on the Gold Coast, Darra might seem a bit of a hike, but ultimately you will save yourself a lot of time, frustration and money!!! Under no circumstances would I recommend Gold Coast Fireplace and Bbq.

Good experience when choosing purchasing installing. 9 Months later I have rust on a regency fireplace (Good Brand Apparently)base near the floor and rang this retailer. They did not really care, said it was not covered by warranty and offer to sell me a can of spray paint to cover it up! They said it was a common problem because it gets wet when people mop the floors. It must not of been too common as they did not allude to this when taking my $5000 for the fire place 12 months ago. The attitude that I just got during this call and lack of customer interest or service is enough for me to spread the word and I will not be going back and will be writing more reviews in other sites.
