Family owned and run, the HUGE store has everything you need for your best friend. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the store is clean and tidy, and they stock a massive range to delight even the most discerning pet. Newly established doggy day care out the back, ample parking out the front, competitive prices inside. Highly recommended!
Great alternative to the chain versions. Good products and range. Attentive staff and nice and clean. Bought a cat tower from them at a reasonable price. His lordship approves
The staff here at Bernie's are exceptional in knowledge and understanding of your pets needs. They show a true love of all pets. We enjoy coming here and they provide everything we need for our little guy.
To the older guy with glasses dean he said his name was and Jennifer the older lady in plain clothing. How upset I am with the way these 2 employees treated me today, whilst I was returning to the store with my receipt and a dog lead that I had previously purchased no longer than 8 weeks ago! I was made out to be a liar by these 2 them stating the product firstly wasn’t from this store which they soon realised it was! Then saying it was not in good condition IT IS NEW THIS IS HOW I PURCHASED IT!!! I was a customer who bought the product like this, it was good enough for me to purchase, so these 2 are saying they sell damaged/scuffed items at full price, but will not refund the price at a later date?! I was unfairly treated and I was bullied by these 2 resulting in me leaving the store!! I’m not sure why this happened today but I no longer will be shopping here after that awful experience, I would not recommend Bernie’s pet barn in Bundall to anyone I know let alone leave them In charge of my animals needs!!! Very upset with today… speechless so unprofessional!! Such a shame!!

Excellent customer service, I went in looking to get a lead to prevent my dog from pulling when walking. The very friendly staff asked me to bring my dog in so that they could measure her up as it goes on her face. I ended up buying a dog bed too! Cant recommend enough!
Came into Bernie’s looking for a new addition to our tank and I must say. We were absolutely impressed with the range they had! Their prices are very reasonable. They also sell items and needs for other animals. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Thanks guys for the friendly service and great advice.
Hands down best pet store on the Gold Coast. I’ve been going here for years. They always have a nice selection of Guinea pigs
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FABULOUS PRODUCTS! It was so cute to be greeted at the door by the store cats! They are adorable! Was very impressed to see the upgrades and changes taking place with the new owners. Located on Upton Street with plenty of free parking. This place has exceptional customer service with a smile. Staff are willing to go the extra mile to help and find you the best product that is right for you. It's the only place I can find lamb puffs for our fur baby that she is able to digest with her stomach issues. Thanks guys for all you're doing to make the experience not only a great one, but a Covid Safe one.
