The best fishnchips we have had amazing
I miss my fortnightly Glenwood Fishnchips since I moved to Auckland. I have yet to find chips as crispy as hers, a jolly good chat with her. If I am ever back down it would be worth while to detour to her shop.
Worst hot chips I've had from a takeaway. I've worked in hospitality and can tell that the oil is way overdue for a change I've seen that previous people have also complained about the state of the oil. My chips were soggy, burnt and sour.. it's as if old chips were deep fried with the new chips. Don't waste your time putting money towards a business that isn't willing to keep up with their food standards 0/10
I can't comment on the food as I didn't go there after the lady was very rude to me for parking on the street outside. She came out and yelled at me about the 10 minute parking. I hadn't even been there for 10 minutes yet. I decided to get Chinese instead, which was very good.
Cabbage chicken burger and half a fillet of blue cod for the same price .are the spring rolls half size aswell with a stink attitude a smile won't kill ya
Everything was hard and well over cooked, burgers included. Dissapointed, there are much better places in Timaru won't be going back.
Very disappointing! Potato fritter was flat,burnt and looked like a hash brown heated up. Chips were soggy and undercooked and scallops were tiny and so hard. Was very upsetting to spend money on something we couldn’t eat.
The oil or fat used was well overdue to be changed. Meat pattie was cooked terribly, still red raw in the middle. The owner claimed it had been dyed from beetroot but the outside was black and crusty. She yelled and hung up when I asked for a refund. Phone line always seems to be busy.
Theyve deleted my review 2years ago aabout bad service and bad food. Definitly not worth it guys. Try the one closer to mountainview school much better food
Worst fish and chips I’ve ever eaten, chips were burnt and fish was soggy, rang up and complained and they didn’t care, hung up on me.
