Really need to work on their internal and external communication. We initially wanted to be picked up at 4pm from Chinaman's Bluff Carpark, but were told that we'd just be waiting around and 2pm would be easy to make. They also said that there were other people booked on the 2pm, so we should decide soon to switch to that pick up time so we could get a place on the bus. We got there at 2pm after getting up super early to make sure we got there on time (changes to the track made it slower), there was no bus, no other hikers. No reception so we waited until 3pm before we started walking towards Glenorchy and eventually hitch hiked there by around 4:30pm. They were apparently on the way to get us and made no mention of the fact that we'd organised to be picked up at 2pm. Alan was a great driver on the way there, Tony drove unpleasantly back from Glenorchy to Queenstown.

Took GJ to Glenorchy, recently. Run by locals, really nice driver, told me all about the LOTR filming locations, etc. Will definitely take them again.

Correspondence with office staff was always clear, concise, and fast. Our shuttle from the Rees track to Queenstown was on time, and our driver was very friendly, offering lots of insight into the region we just walked through. Very pleasurable experience overall. We were also dropped off directly at our hotel in Queenstown, which was unexpected but welcome bonus.

Glenorchy Journeys treated our group very well. On-time (and helpfully early at our Greenstone pick-up), good vehicles, excellent and helpful drivers. Thank you, Alan and Craig. And thank you for taking care of my hat that I left in your car!

I booked transport from Routeburn shelter to Greenstone carpark from them. They were 25 minutes late for pickup, which is absolutely unacceptable for a place without any cellular coverage (or even a payphone) and on the route, that they only do on request. What's more, upon finally showing up, they claimed that 20 minutes is no big deal and that it happens, because people are sometimes late, which incurs delays. This makes me think that my experience is not an isolated case. Giving two stars and not one though, because when they finally showed up, the transport itself was pretty comfortable and smooth and the driver knowledgeable about the area and helpful. Also note that they're rather on the expensive side, charging $50 for that route. I found another company (unfortunately after having already booked with GJ) that does the same route for $36 and has regular scheduled departures.
