What a great day! The boat up the river was fun but not too scary fast for those concerned. I'd say safe for everyone and all ages! The funyak tour was a great day, I would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues as you need to get in and out of a raft and walk on uneven ground, a little bit of walking through streams etc. I'd say fun for kids and you could always help them through the harder parts if they love an adventure! Gorgeous views all around and the staff were knowledgeable. A well oiled machine.
We had a fantastic time on our Dart River Jet boat. Our driver Pedro was funny, professional and knowledgeable giving us lots of interesting information about how the jet boats work, the stunning area and its history - it was especially lovely to hear more about the greenstone and about where it comes from. The skill needed to navigate the waters at such high speeds was amazing and we all felt really safe - we had great weather so saw things we wouldn’t have been able to on another day - exhilarating and amazing experience would highly recommend to anyone!
The Dart River area provides exceptional vistas of rugged mountains and wild rivers. The team does an awesome job. The 2 hour adventure safari is outstanding. You will get wet occasionally, but that's all good and definitely part of the fun. Protective gear is supplied. Do it.
The Dart River wilderness jet tour is a must do!! I had high expectations and yet they were exceeded. We thoroughly enjoyed it and could not stop smiling - the views were epic & Dean was a great driver & guide. We felt safe even during the 360 spins!nnNote that the weather is also going to be a factor, the sun was shining and it made for a magical day. I’m sure it would have been different on a gray/cloudy afternoon, but still worth it for sure
Wow! What a fantastic day we had… The staff were so friendly and provided a great insight and information about the dart river and the surrounding we were looking at…We had perfect weather to enjoy the absolutely stunning and beautiful scenery. The jet boat was a lot of fun and the funyaks are well worth your time and money… it was so magical kayaking/rafting down the river… overall it was absolutely incredible experience
