I am quite disappointed by the poor customer service at Glassons melbourne central !! my friend and i were lining up to try on some clothes on the 30/12/22 and the lady who was on fitting rooms was extremely rude. we were aggressively told to move over and we were asking a few questions about the items we wanted to try on however, she was very short and sharp with her responses and kept cutting us off halfway through our questions. The way we were spoken to was extremely rude and her body language and facial expressions supported this. Not to mention we were not greeted by her and after trying on our items they were snatched from us in an abrupt manner by this same lady. Glassons please be careful who you are hiring because it completely turned both myself and my friend off purchasing items, and made us feel quite uncomfortable.
Terrible staff members with such rude attitude, been a member of glassons for a while ! Never going again to the Melbourne central store . I was accused of stealing as I didn’t get a receipt from the counter when I paid for my items!! How shocking . Not only they are useless at helping customers and anything to do with sits and fits and greeting customers with warmth. Terrible store , was so embarrassed to be be accused of such things. Long time customer but never going to purchase again from here
Pleasantly surprised by the service and overall friendliness of the new team! I have always loved the clothes here but in the past I only shopped twice at this store because of the rude staffs. Every time I had to mentally prepared myself for some rude treatment. Some times you get dirty looks for just looking at the windows. The old team was just mean and ready to dump their unmanaged anger onto the customers. Yesterday I came in for a return from an online order, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly services provided to me. Because I used Afterpay so it took a little try and error to put it through. However, all the girls were so lovely and they explained the process to me very clearly and patiently. They were extremely efficient at their jobs and It looks like everyone is happy to help each other as well. To the talent recruit and management; it looks like whatever you trying to do here in this store is working. Great job and keep up the good work!
I come to Glasson in Melbourne central at 6h10-6h18, 24/08/22. The girl who arranged rooms for customer today did not tend to support me. When I gave back clothes and hangers, I drop 1 hanger but I cannot pick it up because many stuffs on my hand. If she is a good person, a good staff, she would pick it up for me. But she did not even tend to do that with though she could do that at that time dont make a busy time as an ẽxcuse, because she had time to do nothing but was looking at me strugging with it. Instead, she looked at me and waited and said : “still one more”, and bad attitude but I will not mention here. She ignored me struggling with picking it up. I’ve been there many years, most staffs are very nice and supportive at any time. But she is the worst and my first bad experience when shopping in Glasson. I assume that she is a new one. Hopefully, Glasson should take care more about trainning customer service as well as attitude. I will ask name of that staff if she is not supportive and bad attitude next time. I went in and tried on two tops in size medium and my god they were so tight, if I didn’t take those tops off I would probably have problems breathing. If you’re a size 12 or above this shop does not sell clothes for you. TBH, the clothes look like they’re cheaply made too. I wouldn’t waste my money.
I have decided to buy pans and my friend is still in the fitting room so I want to try another dress and buy it together, but the blond-haired staff in white blouse is very unfriendly, she said that the door will be closed in 10 minutes and will not allow me to try it again and tell me you buy it back if it is not suitable you can came back to change it . As she is rude that I didn’t buy anything and I will not go there in the future.
Absolutely loved visiting this store! All the staff were fantastic as they were helpful and just all round lovely. Ended up getting some really cute pieces for my summer wardrobe. They were also under the pump so they all did so well to contain the store under some pressure. Will definitely be coming back when I visit the city again
There was a lovely girl serving today! 19/12/21. She helped me out with my return, I didn’t get her name but I think she was wearing a greenish top. Amazing customer service went above and beyond.
I thought I was the only one but after reading reviews about the rude staff, I feel vindicated. Shopped there today and this girl with the blonde hair could not be anymore disinterested with helping me. Also while paying at the counter, she was very abrupt and just chatted to her workmate about how good that jacket looked on her while I was there waiting to pay!
I wanted to purchase a skirt and kindly asked a staff member if they had it in other colours online. She told me to go look myself with a very passive aggressive tone. I said thank you and walked away. She made me feel discouraged to buy anything after that. I don’t see why she gave me so much attitude when is her job to have extensive product knowledge. My e better training for your staff to be helpful and not get angry at customers for asking simple questions and to be more polite when talking to the customers.
