Giant South Yarra

Had the chance to visit the store today and found the staff Scott and the young man Andrew? to be friendly and professional even when there were so many customers in the shop and everyone were under pump. The items that I purchased appears in good condition, although there was a miscommunication around 1 of the part I received, but that wouldn’t stop me from recommending the shop. Surprised to see all the negative feedbacks below, but I think that may possibly due to the negativity bought to us by COVID and the difficulty in getting stock. Keep up the good work guys and hang in there!

Very well run store with a great bunch of people. Tonnes of friendly service, super helpful and can solve any problem. I can’t recommend them enough. Buy your bikes from these guys and you will not be disappointed.

Not really happy with this experience. I was checking out the store, looking at the bikes, and testing how the hydraulic brakes felt, and I was told by the mechanic at checkout "Hey buddy, for future, dont go around touching other peoples stuff". I said "I thought it was all on display is it not?", and he said "Nah mate, that bike is mine, and its expensive. Don't go around touching the stuff around here like its yours". Mate, if you don't want people checking out your bike, don't put your own bike on display. That being said, the other guy was super helpful and nice.

I had a friend who owns a Giant TCR and was keen to get one myself. Whilst I'm not fussed if there isn't any stock, the level of interest in helping me simply wasn't there. If they'd taken the time to talk through options and understand what I was looking for, I probably would have waited. Instead I purchased a bike from Trek who were super helpful and friendly. Understand it's probably frustrating they don't have stock to sell, but I wouldn't buy a Giant now.

The staff that assisted me were extremely professional and really went over and above when they didn't have to. They were so decent, patient and kind - excellent customer service. I recommend this store to anyone looking to purchase a bike or bike products.

Beware: Quoted 130 for a service. Went back a few hours later and they charge me 265 for all this stuff i didn't ask for. Noone called to ask if i wanted the work done. Rode it home and had to adjust the front derailer because it was rubbing in the last gear and the BB is very loose. Please don't take your bike here. I'm so annoyed.

Excellent friendly service. I had a broken seat bolt. After calling, they asked me to come around. So I dropped in with the bolt and seat, after a brief search they had a solution. Other outlets wanted the entire bike to be booked for a service.

Brought my bike here for a service and they told me that my bike wasn’t road worthy and there was nothing they could do to fix it. The staff were also quite condescending and rude about it. Took it to another bike shop and the staff there were much friendlier and knowledgeable and they fixed my bike up and now it’s good as new.
