Have been going here for years but it has been going slowly down hill and has probably hit rock bottom. I had a high school friend come to visit me recently. I had not seen him in 30 years. He asked where to go for some good seafood. I said Georges Paragon. We both ordered the calamari (I nearly always order this). Much to my horror, what came out could best be described as what you would expect when you buy the boxed calamari rubbish you buy from the supermarket. AND it was cold. My friend questioned me on the quality of the food. The only positive is the service. The food is dreadful

Food was nice, however service was sub-standard. Certain types of fish came with chips and others with potato and vegetables, however you couldn’t make a change so if you chose a fish that didn’t come with vegetables you had to take the chips and order veg on the side - really?Also they promote their menu as half price however 3 small whiting fillets with a small bowl of chips cost $20 which is supposedly half price? I can think of no restaurant that would charge $40 for such a small meal so they need to either reduce prices or stop saying their meals are half price which is false advertising.

This is a fantastic restaurant with wonderful service and a lovely busy vibe. The food was amazing and I didn’t even have a second to snap a quick pic. I will definitely go back and certainly recommend it.

Dined with 17people yesterday and were unable to book a table. After arriving early we were given two tables on the verandah and as it was a rainy day we got wet when it showered. Most outrageously we were charged $68 for cake plates and $54 for weekend surcharge on supposedly half price menu. Very poor value and none of us locals will be back. Wait staff were very nice and did their best

The meals were wonderful very balanced, the atmosphere was lovely and the service very attentive and polite. Would recommend to others and return.
