I forgot to take all the pics. But we had steak, a chicken salad and corn chips with guacamole. All the food was enjoyable and large portions. Staff are friendly. Would return and would recommend. No table service. Order at bar. Inside and outside tables.
Allergens are not listed on the menu, I ordered a gluten free meal, no one said anything to me until the food was brought out where I was told half my dish wasn’t gluten free so only half my meal was given to me & no alternative offered. The food was just placed in front of me as it was. This could’ve been easily explained to me at the time of ordering or anytime before my half meal was brought to me.
We were a table of 8 and it took 1.5 hours to get our meals. Asked twice where our meals were and got only vague answers each timenNone of us were happy with our meals as they arrived virtually cold at the table. My BLT had one of piece of bacon in it.nSo the kitchen team need some feedback or more training.nWe will not be using this venue again.
Tavern has both inside bar area and outside patio area. The tavern is not massive, and tables are limited for large functions. There is the usual gambling area, see photos. ATM onsite. The menu is pub grub and easy. Only popular dishes available. The cellar has a variety of expensive and select wines, champagne and spirits. Beer and Selzers are also available. The staff are awesome and service great. Kids can take scooters or push bikes to play in the courtyard. This venue is not on the water. Parking is OK, there is a lot behind the venue or a larger lot by the IGA. We had wx kids meals and 2x main courses. All meals were well presented and tasty. We will be back for afternoon drinks again.
I was with a large group. We were asked to leave all of a sudden with no explanation. The male waiter became quite aggressive, tipped out people's drinks. Took food from the table and refused to say why. It wasn't a nice experience with no explanation given. Some of the group were quite shaken and upset.
