We had a great time at this restaurant last night. The salt and pepper quails were yummy, pekking duck had perfect roasted skin, and the Hong Kong style steamed fish was just like what I had in Hong Kong! Also strongly recommend the seafood pot with XO sauce!
We had our Chinese New Year Eve CNYE dinner at Dragon Cove, and it was a fantastic experience! To save the hassle of cooking, my family and I love booking a table at a local Chinese restaurant to enjoy great seafood on this special occasion – and Dragon Cove did not disappoint.nnThe restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was excellent. Unlike many Chinese restaurants that charge extra on CNYE, the pricing here remained fair, which was a pleasant surprise. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the service was top-notch. The wait staff were friendly and took the time to walk us through the menu, recommending the best dishes.nnA truly enjoyable dining experience with great food and great service. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

It’s hard to find a restaurant where you feel looked after just the right way!nnThe food was beautiful. The duck with pancakes - yum yum yum! The sizzling beef and the fried rice. FINE DINING AT IT'S BEST!nnWe had a celebratory lunch and enjoyed every part of it.nWe ordered Beijing Beef, Mongolian Lamb, Lemon Chicken and Salt and Pepper Pork with steamed rice.nWe had more than enough for 5 people and couldn't finish it all.nThere is a good range in the drinks menu from cocktails, wines, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks.nI recommend having a reservation as it gets very busy.nThe dress code while not enforced appears to be 'good' attire. I would recommend dressing up for the occasion, especially at night.nThe staff are attentive and willing to please.nWhile on the more expensive side, it is certainly worth it for the full flavours, large servings and excellent service.nIt is indoors however you can order take away and eat by the water outside.nHighly recommended and the best Chinese restaurant I have found on the coast.
This is a premium Chinese restaurant, not your typical takeaway. I love the fact you can book online, however what’s the point of asking if it’s for a special occasion? I put anniversary and I wasn’t expecting a song and dance, but a simple ‘Happy Anniversary’ from the waiter would’ve been nice. The food is expensive so expectations are high. We had two appetisers and they were nice, however the mains arrived a couple minutes later so it felt rushed. Give us time to enjoy! Eating out is an experience, and should be savoured not rushed. Also the waiter never asked us how our dishes were. We had the seafood clay pot and it came with a different sauce because they’d run out of the usual one. It was delicious but $45 is a lot for 4 prawns, scallops and a tiny piece of fish. We also had the duck with lychees - this was an excellent dish and we’d definitely have it again.
