Gentleman Jones is a traditional Gentlemen’s Barber shop.

We aim to encourage Gentlemen to continue the traditions they remember of their father and of their grandfathers visiting their local barber shop. The aroma’s of Bay Rum, and oiled timber. The creak of the old barber chair mingled in with the lively conversation, the tall stories, and the people you meet. Gentleman Jones not only brings back memories, it is creating a whole set of new ones for the next generation coming through.

The difference between us and the old barber is the modern skills of our barbers and the way embrace the traditional skills. We offer the whiskey bar, pool table dart board and chess, and occasional live bands.
WE have even been known to have a Poker Tournament. These things are designed to keep you busy while you wait and all traditional barber shop features of the past. At Gentleman Jones we might be a small barber shop but we are Big on Traditions.
WE are not like a ‘salon’ . We do not have a booking service. WE use a walk in system which allows you to come in on the days you are available—when you are available. However this does mean you do have to have to sit and wait and in today's busy world that can be a problem so we do understand Gentleman Jones may not be for everyone. WE do try to consider how precious your time is and often have three to Four barbers working.
What we offer is a commitment to exceptional service, dedicated quality and traditional vintage surrounds that allows you to wait in comfort. Do Have a whiskey and a yarn while catching up with a mate you have not seen in ages (you will be amazed who you run into at Gentleman Jones) Or simply sit quietly in the pool room sipping your port reading one of our many light entertaining books while you wait.
Should none of this take your fancy, perhaps you will prefer to view our craft beer menu. We do aim to make that wait enjoyable.
You could choose to browse our large range of quality Gentlemen’s gifts from leather gear to exotic materials shaving sets. We also carry a large range of Men’s products for you to choose from, including beard care right through to modern hair products.
