This feels like a hidden gem, the seating out the back felt like a surprise it was such a cosy vibe with nice decorations! The highlight was defs the Momo platter with the momos cooked 4 ways, along with the delicious spicy sauce it was sublime We also really enjoyed the lamb curry as the sauce was lovely, the fried potato was heavenly too. Egg fried rice was very flavoursome with the egg cooked perfectly crispy on the outside and egg yolk thick and runny. The buff chowmein noodles were ok, waiter said they use actual buffalo meat which had a more leathery kinda jerky-like texture and slightly smokey flavour, probably a bit too chewy for my tastes to order again but still cool to try. The mango lassi was one of the best I've tried tbh! Also fantastic value as what we got was about $19pp for a group of 4 and we were all very full. I'll defs be back for more curry and momos!
Funky Momo is our absolute go to! We always get the momo platter, crispy pork bites, and the thali and they never disappoint. The crispy pork bites and thali are seriously so good every single time. The place is always packed and has such a cozy, welcoming vibe. Just a minor change we noticed recently: the potatoes in the thali changed from the old chunky style to a thinner style fry. I definitely preferred the original chunky ones, but it’s a tiny detail in an otherwise amazing menu. Still highly recommend!
A group of us had dinner at this place and the food was amazing. This is our forth time here, and it was excellent as always. Joshna and Ashmi offered really good service to us and we highly recommend you guys to try this authentic Nepalese food.
I m writing this without even finishing my plate, its that GOOD!!!! the authentic taste of this place is unbeatable, the momo is soooo soft and just melts in your mouth.. everything i tried here is 10/10. Highly recommend
Treated to a friendly service in this small homely restaurant. We ordered them chicken thakali set which i enjoyed very much.nThere were more menu items to try, especially the momo and laphing, so you can count on me coming again.nThank you for serving good food!
