Consistent Breaky, omelettes are the best. Great coffee and dogs welcome. Staff always cheerful and help our 86 year old mum. A Balmain staple.

The team at Fundamental are nothing but amazing. The service is incredible. The food is delicious. And the coffee! All me days Stephen has to be the most consistent barrister in Sydney. Hands down the best coffee you can get. Nelly and Stephen who own the cafe are like family. The pancakes and vego breakfast are my faves.

Excellent Cafe, been going here for 15 years and it never fails to impress. Food is great and very reasonable. Staff are always amazing and super friendly. This Cafe is always buzzing with people laughing and chatting.
Excellent meal with quick friendly service. Definitely recommend this place.
Always my favorite place for brunch.. Chorizo omelette is my favorite!! Toby Estates coffee - nice! Staff are friendly and nice.
Nice cafe with good food and pleasant service
Extremely average cafe - particularly when there are so many good ones nearby in Balmain. Poached eggs weren't soft almost hard and tasted of strong vinegar. Toast was cold and hard. Staff were lovely and attentive perhaps because we were the only ones in the cafe.
You should remove the crazy old man that regularly sits outside.
