Zumbo Patisserie Balmain

The small origin zumbo shop - always good to pick up some dessert and often some samples are available!

I bought the cake online and picked it up from Balmain. It was perfect.

One of my favourite places to get macaroons. Salted caramel is delicious.

I shared a cheesecake and chocolate fondue cake. The quality seems to have dropped recently. It feels like they're bulk producing this stuff, rather than having skilled pattisiers making them on site. It still tasted fairly good, but I have taken off a star because I got bad stomach cramps afterwards...

We took our 11yr old daughter there as a surprise as Emma loved the TV show. Despite living near the Melbourne shop, she loved it and the staff were lovely and very 'selfie' accommodating. I, Dad, don't have a sweet tooth but we all commented that the pies we bought for lunch were delicious!

Love all the beautiful creations at Zumba. Always a dance in my mouth! Lucky to be living in this part of the world!!

All their food are very well presented. but the flavours can be a hit-or-miss. They can be too sweet too. They're definitely not that outstanding.
