**Updated to respond to Freedoms reply: Thank you but we have spoken with your customer care/services team and have also been in store to speak in person about the poor quality of your dining chairs.nWe were told, it’s ‘outside of warranty - there’s nothing you can do.nWould like for other customers to be aware of this issue, thanks **nnI’d be very weary about buying ‘quality’ furniture from Freedom and expecting it to last..nPurchased dining table and chairs, chairs barely used and they’ve disintegrated over time, outside of warranty they don’t want to hear about it, blaming products used none no pets and they’ve never been in direct sunlight either.nNow looking at forking out $200 per chair to restore and the upholsterer said they see this all the time from these big department stores like Freedom Furniture.nSturdy structure but cheap and nasty foam and covering, designed to only last 18 - 36 months.
I have been a frequent customer of this establishment, but my recent experiences have been consistently disappointing. On two separate occasions, the service was so poor that we were forced to leave. Today, December 27, 2024, there were approximately six employees on the floor engaged in idle conversation rather than providing customer service. Notably, none of them approached us to inquire if we required assistance or even offered a friendly greeting.nDespite our presence, we have made the decision to cease patronizing this establishment. We will not be returning to the Joondalup store
Returned incorrect item store sent to us back on 19/9, have still not received refund, you can no longer call the stores direct therefore have to go through their call centre to be hand balled constantly, have gone into the store only to be advised we don’t know why it hasn’t gone through so we’ll try again & refund still not processed & multiple emails sent! Our family have been long term customers of Freedom & purchased a lot over the years, will shop elsewhere if this is the customer service.
Customer service has been an absolute joke. We ordered an outdoor sofa months ago and the delivery has been pushed back 3 times. After confirming last week that the sofa would be delivered in time for our upcoming event we’ve now been told this will not happen. Everyone we have spoken to at this store has had no idea what they are talking about and were completely unhelpful in giving realistic delivery dates.nRecommend Amart or Harvey Norman over this store any day.
We had the help of Gloria in store yesterday and I was so impressed with her customer service skils. She was extremely friendly, knowlegable and professional. Gloria had great patience in answering all of our questions and kept coming back to check if we needed anything. She also helped us draw the plans of the room to see if the couch would fit. Thanks you Gloria. Myself and Drey appreciated all of your help
