Pretty good Asian food for NZ standards. Restaurant was very big. We got there was service seemed a bit busy with only 1 person serving about 4 tables and the phone. Food was good though, we had the Chicken fried rice, Beef stir-fry and dumplings. Only the steam dumplings were not great, not much meat and overly thick skin. But the other dishes were fantastic.nnTheir desserts looked incredible too, but sadly we did not have the time for it.
Rare Asian Cuisine offers some unique and tasty dishes. It was very crowded on a Friday night, so expect a wait. The food was above average in taste but the portions were small and a bit pricey. I wouldn’t recommend the bubble tea unless you really miss it.
Excellent Taiwanese restaurant just out of Christchurch. Must try if you are around the area. Spacious environment for family gathering.
It was the second time I visited and it’s disappointing to say that their food was not as good as it used to be I feel. The meat inside bao bun was extremely dry. The tofu was ok. Probably won’t want to return again especially when you live out of town.
Desserts absolutely amazing.nnHeard us sing happy birthday and suprised us with a small desert birthday cheesecake.nnThe dessert bomb is a must have to see on table
