Story

FOF Rotary Hotpot Restaurant is one of the pioneers in hotpot conveyor belts that have stepped foot on the beautiful Oceania country. Yes! We are the first personal conveyor belt hotpot restaurant in this peaceful Melbourne city
Though the concept of “food on a conveyor” is still young, but it is very innovative, energizing and provide convenience to customers alike, thus will serve ample delicious delicacies at your choice. The “conveyor belt dining” concept, though not ripe and familiar around the globe, is quite recognizable and arguably one of the most creative factors that was born in Japan since the 1950s. Yoshiaki Shiraishi (1914–2001) invented the 回転寿司-Kaiten Zushi –Conveyor Belt Sushi- after staffs of his own sushi bar Asahi complained that sushi services was “too slow” and “unsatisfactory”. He invented the conveyor belt sushi at first with the hopes of a faster, more convenient way of dining, and it eventually became one of the most prestigious innovations in dining ever in Japan. (Now also known as くるくる寿司 kuru kuru sushi –Sushi Go Round-).
