Im giving one star based only on front desk. I do enjoy the vlasses as the trainers seem highly qualified.  The manager followed by one most NOT all of the fernwood gym are unprofessional especially those that seem to be in charge. Stinky attitude at times and every business is after a sale but they really are pushy to the point i am reconsidering if ill ever attend this gym again. Otherwise i enjoy the space of tgis place plus equipment

The front desk do not have good services, my Childcare service has been cancelled without a reasonable reason! They promised me to give me a reply in a week, while of course they happened to forget, after all, fees have been charged normally whatever you come or not.

So expensive. Hardly have any equipment. They just want to rip you off!! Went with a friend for s "consultation" was ridiculous. It's so damn expensive just because it's a woman's only gym.

**WARNING! DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM!** They just want to take your money and forget you exist. 

I joined because they were 24/7 and I asked about parking and I was told that Westfield’s Aird Street parking (right next to the gym) was open all night and I wouldn’t have any troubles. I paid $70 for the access key so that I could use the club anytime of day/night only to find that the car park actually closed at 10pm and all of the street parking is ‘no parking’.

I sent an email enquiry and they said that they had never had this issue before and would look into it. Weeks went by with no response even when I sent numerous enquiries (6 emails in total) to follow up. I had enough as I was paying for a membership that I wasn’t even able to use. I told them I was transferring to a different Fernwood as I was wasting my money at a gym I cant even get to but needed to pay another $70 for the access key to their club.

I asked them for a refund for the $70 (not even for unused membership, to be fair and meet them halfway) but they ignored me multiple times until I said I would contact fair-trading. Then they replied ignoring the fact that I was transferring and my ask for a refund to just say, “we are looking into it”. 

Since speaking of my frustration to others, I have found many people have had a similar experience with this Fernwood Parramatta.

I didn't like the pushy and patronising attitude of the sales girl at this gym. Too expensive only for the exclusivity of being a women's gym. They do not Honour the Fernwood brand's 7 day free pass either and the sales girl kept saying " it's waste of resources for us so I do not give these to anyone, but I am giving you 2 sessions to bring a friend along" as if she is doing a favour!!! NOT HAPPY.
