Very clean gym and supportive atmosphere. I've had two children since I joined and have been supported throughout, including having my payments put on hold for as long as needed between babies. Child minding has been really helpful with returning and the guidance from trained professionals fantastic. I also love that they have all you need for after a gym session to get ready for the day.
I’ve never enjoyed a gym as much as I’m enjoying Fernwood. What a wonderful set up and beautiful bunch of ladies! There’s just such a range of ages and fitness levels - it’s both inspiring and welcoming at the same time - could not be happier!

I have been a member at Fernwood Ballarat now for almost 18months, joining this club was without a doubt the best decision i could of made for myself. The club is beautiful and inviting and has an incredible range of equipment and group fitness classes. Every staff member is welcoming and supportive and nothing is ever to much trouble. The club is so much more then just a gym, it’s a family, they always go above and beyond to set you up for success and genuinely care about your journey.. I have found my place, i will always call fernwood home.
Loved my time here at Fernwood, the staff and other members are so friendly. The gym and equipment is maintained and well cared for.
Fernwood ballarat is a great gym. Staff are lovely, faciliaties are good. They add a personal touch to your workout.
Fernwood Ballarat is the best gym I’ve ever been to. The environment is great and the staff are all incredible, they’re so helpful and lovely. I cannot recommend this gym enough. Although it’s slightly more expensive than co ed gyms, it’s 100% worth it.
A fun, diverse and non intimidating workout experience for women. Combines fitness with enriching social connectedness and the coffee is always good :
As a member of too many years to remember I love the female only concept. You never feel as though you are not good enough, everyone is always encouraging not matter of your fitness level or body shape.
