Purchased a $200 4 slice Toaster. Had issues with right side not locking down smoothly. Took it back to store within 8 days of purchase. Both Ms Nissa and Mr Dhanika, who checked it out stated it is working which I disagreed that it was not, as we had to slide the knob couple of times to lock it. The sales person Mr Dhanika was argumentative and had a poor attitude. The manager Letina had to be called to resolve the issue, as I refused to take it. A replacement was provided after some rude conversation by staff with an impolite attitude. I have been a regular Farmer customer, but a lot has changed lately, with quality of frontline staff and the level of customer experience at Farmers. Need more training for staff how to handle customer complaints!
Good selection. The fitting rooms were full and multiple ladies waiting. Could have used staff assistance at the fitting rooms. Wanted to use Afterpay at the checkout but no staff member knew how it worked. I had to Google it at the checkout so that we could all be informed. Farmers should really train their staff in this. Turns out you can only use it if you have a fairly new cell phone, so won't be available to all customers...especially the ones more likely to need to use it.
Good place when there are decent sales on, especially clearance sales. The staff member I asked for assistance from was unhelpful and dismissive, but she was an anomaly fortunately. Normally staff are great. Great when there are decent sales on, because Farmers are not the most wallet friendly.
I’ve had a very poor online shopping experience with Farmers. While the purchase and of course the payment was frictionless every step of the process after that was less than average. Ordered 3 items appliances valued >$4000. ETA was provided and missed and nothing happened. Weeks after the initial ETA had passed I’m contacted and given another date. Again nothing happened. Then after following up again I’m now told that ‘the manufacturer has discontinued the product’ … Really? For an online resellers you have pretty much missed all important customer KPIs Farmers. I know - eventually Amazon will enter the NZ market and wipe out all the amateur shops but until then: please try to improve the customer experience!
Walked around the whole shop, actually dragged around by the wife but couldn't find anything that grabbed my attention and said buy me. Sadly, the store seems to have lost some of the vibrance it once had, or maybe it was just me having an off day and expecting more than was on offer.
Today I was lired to by both staff and the manager. When unable to answer my questions they made one up. That level of dishonesty is unacceptable and un ethical by Retail staff. I will not shop with this franchise or Farmers again. Canceled the order, it was refunded back to my card. And spent that refund with Harvey norman. AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE I WILL NOT SHOP WITH AGAIN AND WHY WOULD ANYONE!
I like Farmers St Luke's. It is spacious & relaxed. I like the Australis Blue Mascara & their eyeliners. I like the thin lizzy eye liner there ... & this visit I got an interesting color Natio eyeliner in like steel grey.
I fondly remember our Mum taking us to Farmers Hobson Street 65yrs ago and for me the locations, the fashions may have changed but the service remains as warm and enjoyable today.
The cashier named Jennifer is a typical ‘Karen!’ She was loud and such an attention seeker. Went their to get tooth brush heads and wanted to use my voucher, every time I only had to verify myself by answer some questions , she refused and yelled at me: we can’t just give you 20 dollars!! At least 5 times. I mean I don’t mind I can use it in other stores or bring my farmers club card with me the next time there was no need to yell at me. You know what Jennifer ? From the second you looked at me at the counter I saw envy in your eyes , you are just acting out your pathetic jealousy . Go home and take your meds!
Amazing range at this store across all departments. Quite tidy and organised. Have had unusual experiences with some of the staff but most are friendly and helpful. There is 4 hr parking right outside the store too making it easy to pop in and out of if you just need to get something quickly. Easy to navigate and find things in.
