I love Family Self Defence because of the instructors and also the way they teach us. I would recommend this to everyone who wants to learn martial arts.

My son loves it here. The instructors are great with him and the lessons have definitely improved his confidence and concentration. Would definitely recommend this place.

Since my kids joined Hanmudo at FSD in Castle Hill, I have seen their confidence levels improve significantly. They are achieving awards at school and with the discipline and respect learnt, they are helping with chores at home. FSD focuses on all aspect of their lives, including home and school by encouraging 'black belt' behaviour regardless of whether they are at FSD or elsewhere. They still continue to enjoy the classes which they attend twice a week and practise at home. My daughter is in the Black Belt club which is an additional class for those kids that strive to challenge themselves further and learn new techniques that are normally too advanced for the regular class. The instructors are very friendly and approachable, patient and know how to engage with the children as well as encourage them to achieve their best whilst still enjoying the classes. If not for the fantastic results I have seen with my children, I would not have written this review.

Tried my first class at Family Self Defence Castle Hill, and loved it. The instructor was patient and helpful, and made my class really enjoyable. Will definitely recommend this to anyone of any age looking to get fit or try their hand at a new skill.

We love this gym. My kids learn discipline and get fit through their martial arts classes and I really enjoy the brilliant community & workout via the Muay Thai kickboxing classes.
