A lot is great about the apartments - plenty of room, two bedrooms, full kitchen and cooking facilities, full size new fridge and plenty of tea and coffee. Very comfortable throughout and the bed was excellent. Bathroom was very spacious, heating and hot water great. Apartments are well set out, so there is plenty of privacy. Location is good, a short drive from the shopping centre and near the airport if you like planes and gliders. Is opposite the hospital, which is always good. It is a great place to base yourself for a few days sightseeing in the town and surrounds - Glenrowan, wineries and Winton Wetlands worth exploring.nnHowever, looks dated and 80s style and is looking rather tired externally, but must have been very nice in its day. Just needs some money spent on care and attention and it could be that again. One of the two kitchen hotplates barely worked. The garden and grounds look neglected and full of weeds. Keeping the grounds free of weeds would be well worth it to lift the presentation of the property. The BBQ area did not look very inviting. Reception was closed on arrival and departure, during stated opening hours. I like a personal touch when I arrive and to speak to my hosts.nI recommend the apartments for space, comfort and the kitchen.
My Wife & I thought The Accommodation was simply fantastic.The Appartment had every feature,that you would expect to find.It was fully equipped with Kitchen & Laundry facilities.The Heating was quite adequate.nWe wouldn't hesitate in recommending this Motel,to anyone planning on staying in Benalla.nWe will definitely be back in the future.nCheersnHelen & Rod Segal.
Stayed there for 3 nights not impressed. No hot water in kitchen. Toaster smoked couldn't use. Couldn't lock bedroom door to outside. Wasp next on post in outdoor seating area. Carport post broken. Grounds lacked maintenance. Definitely won't be back
Great, affordable place to stay. Very quiet. Heater was on when we arrived which was a lifesaver. Shower is massive, bed is super comfy and the staff are very nice! Will be back again.
The units had huge potential but felt over crowded with an EXTRA bed in the lounge. This ruined the layout and made the sliding doors unusable.nIt was however very clean.nThe outdoor areas are poorly gardened, broken carport and a feeling of neglect.nHowever the bathrooms are highly accessible, with laundry facilities in the unit, perfect for longer stays and for people with accessibility issues.
