Essential Beauty Chadstone

I had a piercing done a while ago at Essential Beauty Chadstone. It never healed within the time frame it should have. It cause me constant pain, I could not sleep on the side the was pierced on. After venturing to different professionals, I was told the piercing was pierced entirely wrong; the type of needle used was too thin for the wide jewellery that was used. The bar that the young woman 'assured' me was right, turned out to be too short in length. The customer service was appalling...completely blasé. Careless and unprofessional. I would not recommend this Essential Beauty chain-store to anyone. I hope you get the help y'all need :)

I got my helix piercing here, it cost me over $90. They told me that I need to leave my earrings in for at least two months to prevent infection. I had it in for three months, took it out for a day to clean it and the next day it had already closed up! I called essential beauty chadstone for advice and they told me it's normal for it to close up after a day or two. I was very upset that they neglected to tell me this during my consultation. I chose essential beauty to get it done for more expensive than others because I thought they would be professional. As I was very upset I made a complaint to the owner/manager "Melanie/Mel" and she told me it's "common sense" that a piercing would close up in a day! What a joke! She was so rude and didn't offer to help me out at all. All she could offer was a sarcastic "sorry". I am extremely upset, all for something they could have fixed up in 5 mins for lack of care and advice but chose to tell me I lacked common sense instead! Shocking customer service! I wanted to contact someone at head office to see if anyone with better customer service skills could help me but apparently they don't exist. I will never be using your brand for anything ever again.

I'm happy with my piercing but I felt like the staff weren't overly friendly...
