Great coffee , fresh beans ,however attitude towards clients when they have cold coffee flat frouth needs apology and repeat of coffee order to customer taste.
Nice atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. On the street by the entrance to the Canberra Centre. Close to shopping. Good proximity to parking. Good proximity to other restaurants. Good proximity to bus interchange. Good proximity to light rail station. Reasonable walking distance to the lake.
This is a great little Coffee Shop, can get quite busy at times but I think it's worth the wait as the Coffee is pretty good. You can also get Muffins and Toasted Sandwiches. Staff are also pretty friendly...

Truly some great coffee here, but the fact that a batch brew can set you back $5 and the food they offer is incredibly basic/poor is what stops this place from being great. The toasties they offer their only hot food are incredibly average especially for the price they're charging. Staff are lovely and the cafe itself has a really nice fitout to it. Just a shame about the prices/quality of food. Probably should aim to just be an espresso bar as that's where their talent is. The rest feels tacked on.
Very tasty coffee here served with joy and attention to detail. Proper marble tables and usually sun-drenched. Reasonably priced and one of the best 3 coffees to be had in Civic.
So good now the shop has a bigger area. No one batted an eyelid when the mums and prams and roudy kids took up the space allocated for larger groups. The atmosphere is friendly, the coffee is fantastic, I do think it's hilarious that they can't get their customers names right when asked, perhaps a numbered recipt would be a sufficient system instead ; best coffee in the south!!
Espresso Room are always my go to coffee shop of choice, and there is good reason for that. Even at 6:30am in the early morning staff were bright, happy and keen to make you the best coffee.
Coffee was good but the prices was high.
