We went there in a large group for Teppanyaki. The kids of our friend got sick and the couldn't come for dinner. The Manager blame me angrily for the 3 empty seats. He was so rude. : the chefs are awesome and food are good.
My Family and I had a wonderful meal at the teppanyaki Bar, the service was amazing and the the chef made it feel very personal and we had a great laugh. Thank you for a fantastic night out! <3 Mummy and Pappa and the Sisters
We went out for dinner at Wasabi tonight. It all started out fine - we had the tempura platter and some nice warm sake. I really enjoyed these! Then they brought out the mains. I ordered teriyaki fish; the first thing I noticed when the waitress placed the portion in front of me was the smell of fishy fish. I tried to just think that I'm probably being fussy and should just eat the portion, but I honestly couldn't - the fish tasted so overwhelmingly strong, and had this fishy, old taste to it! We called the waitress over and mentioned it to her. She apologized and told us that the fish was barramundi! I have had Barramundi hundreds of times and it is one of my favorite dishes. She suggested that we could order something else instead but they were out of salmon as I am a pesceterian and not a great lover of shellfish, I couldn't find anything suitable on the menu so we decided to just finish there. We went to pay the bill, and naturally I thought that they wouldn't have charged us for the portion I didn't eat, but yes, they had charged us for it and just refunded us for a glass of wine. I'm very disappointed with my experience here, and I would have thought we could have found fresh fish at a Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately not recommended.
Bloody hopeless. Left a message on their voicemail to book a week in advance. No returned call. Called to confirm and rudely told they don't have a voicemail system accusing me of lying? And then blaming Telstra. So - plenty of other Canberra options - find one.
This restaurant has closed down without the courtesy of notifying patrons with birthday parties booked. Poor show.
VERY DISAPPOINTED. WENT THERE FOR AN 7PM BOOKING, TO ONLY GET THERE AND THE PLACE WAS CLOSED!!! TRIED CALLING THE NIGHT BEFORE TO CHANGE NUMBERS AND NO ANSWER!!! NOT IMPRESSED.
Good value for money will go again
