My partner and I both LOVED the chicken burger and cured Kingfish dish. He really enjoyed what he would describe as one of the best coffees he’s ever had! I loved that there were many seats on the inside and outside of the cafe. It’s a really spacious but also cozy space with comfortable seating and warm timber interior. I would definitely come back again the next time I visit Canberra.
An incredible place to enjoy amazing food and amazing ONA coffee. We went on a late Saturday morning for brunch with a group of 7. There was a line but we were able to put our name down on the waiting list. Less than 20 minutes later we were called back and were seated at our spacious table. The staff were constantly attentive and friendly. The food was all delicious, all flavours very well balanced and all components cooked very well. The coffee was fantastic too. The bill in the end did amount to a lot, but we felt it was well worth it. Overall, a highly recommended place for brunch.
Top rated for breakfast in Canberra! The scrambled eggs were yummy but I definitely made the wrong choice when I saw all the other delicious dishes coming out, like the hot cakes and the smashed avo. The staff are very accommodating and FRIENDLY! You’ll more than likely have a wait time as it’s the happening spot, however it’s worth it and staff give you a good estimate
An absolute must visit for coffee lovers. The food was great and the ONA coffee was even better! The staff were all awesome and super accommodating of the fact that we had a 5 year old with us. I would highly recommend stopping at The Cupping Room for either breakfast or brunch or even just a coffee - it's well worth it! Overrated. Bad quality of food and coffee. Staff with an attitude. I gave one star for the sourdough toast and eggs that tasted normal. We went there for brunch just this morning and I can’t wait to leave a comment here. We went in and the staff asked us party of 3 to take the table right outside the kitchen when there were actually plenty of empty tables inside. After the table next to us left we asked to move to that table, with the staff, with an attitude, said “oh it’s normally for two people but I’ll give it to you”. The table size and number of chairs are identical so I am not quite sure how is that table for two people. Coffee is tasteless. The fries that came with the chicken burger were greasy and so crispy that tasted like it’s been deep fried for ten times. This place is clearly overrated with this quality of food, coffee and staff service. I would not recommend anyone to come there are a lot other better cafes and restaurants around the area and you DO NOT need to waste your time here.
I can see why there's a queue outside for The Cupping Room because it was superb. Avo on toast with poached eggs was a feast and accompanied by the smoothest, best flat white - so good I had a second! Service was warm and charming even when rushed off their feet. Will be back on our next trip to Canberra.
The food was amazing the red velvet milkshake was the best ever I had. The staff was so good to accommodate my request for veg food. They made sure everything is perfect. Plus I went there with my puppy dog and she was welcomed there.Recommended dishesChicken Burger, Mushroom Burger
Found another great French toast place! Loved how unique the bread was, so soft and mochi-like inside and all the sauces went so well together except that raisin sauce or something I just couldn't get used to that xD but I LOVED it. The fish dish was good too, mushrooms were but we didn't know what that white flour thing was. Burger and chips it was super cold raining outside and we had to wait a bit but they had heaters in the outdoor area which was so good.
If your employees don't know how to serve and help guests, please close the door and retrain your employees. I ordered an Ice Latte, fresh toast and AVO toast at 1:10pm. As a result, my drink was not given to me at 1:35pm. The food told me that I still had to wait 15-20 minutes. Next table of me at 1:25pm ordered drinks and food, about 12 minutes later, their food and drinks came up. I responded to your staff and manager, the manager explained and told me that coffee can be free for u. I didn't accept free coffee. Because the result I want is not to give me a cup of free coffee, but to get my food quickly. And I finished ordering without sitting down and told your staff that I was in a hurry and needed to catch a plane. Please hurry up. And there is a girl with fluffy hair. If you don't like your customers, don't go to work. Go home and stay. Your service has closed down 800 times in Brisbane. I hope your boss can see this comment and retrain your employees! And I didn't hear any words of apology from beginning to end. It's all sophistry! But anyway the food was niceeee! This one star is for the delicious food. If you want a delicious brunch. You can come to this store at ease. This bad service experience may also be difficult to encounter. Hope they can improve! Don't treat people from different countries differently!
Love their coffee, and foods. I ordered ice long black and my wife ordered cappuccino. Their fries, bacon, avo and egg were also great. They said that it's crowded on the weekend. I visited on Monday morning, and no line up. It's just the parking lot that is difficult to get there. Other than that, you will enjoy the Café guys!Food: 5/5
