We were very happy with our first car renting experience. The car was, clean and well kept with great features. Being a hybrid we didn’t have to spend much money on fuel.
My experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car was awesome. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very professional in the whole process. The car I rented was spotlessly clean, well serviced and fuel efficient. This is the place to be if you're in Canberra and looking for a rental car
Good experience, only feedback would be when renting someone a hybrid you might mention that it doesn't make a noise when it's starts once the battery is charged. That way they won't almost ring road side assistance. We worked it out eventually and had a good laugh on ourselves. Apart from that we will definitely rent through Enterprise again.
Brand new Toyota Corolla Hybrid, great car but instructions on how to start without key would have been good cruise control disabled and no phone charger usb ports, and no owners manual in glove box. Other than that all good. Great to drive and great hire price!
Enterprise Rent-A-Car is conveniently located within the airport, you would never strain with your luggage nor get late to your flight. The staff who handled us was very clear, patient and professional. He even offered to help with the luggage to where the car was parked. The car was impressively clean, spacious and neat! And it drove very well, and very economical on fuel. I highly recommend your services, and I am definitely renting with you again. Thank you Enterprise, thank you Mehran!
The hire car itself was great - Hybrid Toyota Corolla. It was clean and a nice drive. Unfortunately our customer service experience was poor. We requested and paid $70 for a rear facing car seat for our 4 month old baby. When we picked up the car, we were handed the car seat in the office. I asked if it could please be installed, to which the attendee replied ‘We are not authorised to install car seats’. I asked the attendant to confirm if it was rear facing and suitable for a 4 month old, which he was unable to answer. He went out the back and bought out another car seat, which was a capsule, and would have been a more appropriate car seat for the size of our baby. When I went to inspect it though, it was filthy, with food throughout, and stains all over the straps and sides of the capsule. I asked the attendee to bring the other car seat back out for me to inspect. I was able to confirm it was able to be rear facing after reading some of the safety information on the side of the car seat. We were not provided with a manual for this car seat, so had no idea how to install it ourselves, which naturally made us feel very uneasy. My husband and I then spent close to 30 minutes installing the seat ourselves, at 6pm at night, with our 4 month old. The harnesses were all tangled. When you hire a car seat from a car hire company, it should be installed in the car upon collection. We hired a car with a car seat with Hertz recently, and this was our experience. If the car seat is not installed, it should come with a complete installation manual to support the driver/parents to safely install the car seat themselves although I strongly argue that the hirer should not have to do this. The car seat should be an appropriate for the size of the car. The one we were provided with was so bulky, it meant we were unable to use our front passenger seat. In summary, we will not hire through Enterprise again, and we hope this review prompts management to train their staff in safe car seat installation so future families do not experience what we did.
Very poor service. We arrived in Canberra having pre-booked a car with a reward facing baby seat installed as we have a 7 month old. When we got there the person barely spoke for several minutes and then pulled out a forward facing seat not suitable for under 2s and basically asked if it would suffice. After we said no he rummaged around in a back room for many more minutes and then produced a suitable seat but proceeded to tell us that we had to install it ourselves, which took my partner nearly an hour to do while myself and our baby waited in the car park. I have hired cars and car seats before with our little one and never had to do this. Before we left we also asked if we could pre pay for a tank of petrol as there was a large advertisement on the counter saying we could do so, but the worker just said no. The car was also quite dirty in scratched in the boot which was not stated in the hire terms or the photos. We took photos just in case we got blamed for it but are yet to find out if we will be charged as when we returned the car the one person serving was taking such a long time serving people that were hiring cars not returning cars that we ended up having to leave the keys and run so we didn’t miss our flight home. Would never hire with this company again.
Easy & fast documentation with very good reasonable price , and the car they provide are also so good and luxurious. Thanks. I strongly recommend it. And the staff are also nice and helpful.
I’m very happy with the service and pricing of the rentals. However I’m just curious as to why they were able to instantly refund an over charge made to my card but it’s a glacial wait for the security deposit to be processed. Also it’s frustrating that they list a contact email that isn’t valid on all of the bookings and receipts documents, surely it’s not that difficult to ensure your business information being shared with customers is correct and updated.
It’s fair to say little went right. System issues resulted in me being charged twice. And collecting the car took over half an hour and there were no other customers. I was then charged $200 as a holding fee and wasn’t told about this. When I rang and queried the $200 I was told it would be released in 3-5 days, but if it isn’t, then I need to contact my bank. Very ordinary.
