Heidi at reception was not helpful and put me on hold half way through the conversation just so she could attend another call. I'm sure this is not the standard practice by putting customers on hold during an unfinished conversation. So 1 star for your effort Heidi at reception

Looked at my Electrical licence today and noticed it was due to expire next week, thought it was odd that I didn't know this earlier. Checked my emails for any missed contact from them as I have emailed them in the past about stuff, found nothing. I contacted my previous residency for missed mail and nope nothing.  Called up ESV 1800 hotline and spoke to a nice lady extremelyhelpful, she notified me that ESV don't mail out notices or expiry notices anymore,  she was super helpful getting my online account sorted and I paid it with debit card  easy process  I totally understand they have changed their format but my issue is they  didn't attempt to try contact me about this or notify og these changes and  about my licence  Luckily I added my correct details that they didn't have correct on file?

I have been in contact with Penny helping me with my user Id and she was so nice, clear, patient went above and beyond to help me. I highly recommend asking for Penny.

Warning: 'Independent contractors' working for Energy Safe, but wearing 'street clothes' and driving an unmarked car, might come to your home unannounced and demand entry to your home in order to inspect recently done electrical work under the threat of your power being turned off if you don't let them in. It's just another way that Victoria operates to remind us that we don't have any legal rights.

1 star only due to new website ESV Connect. The old website ESV online services was not the greatest design but at least it was simple and worked. They attempted to modernize it but have failed miserably. Should have utilized Google Material Design, or even Bootstrap or Angular but instead they chose this. I don't even know what design concept this is its like some kind of horrible mash up but misses its mark entirely. It is so difficult to navigate, nothing is intuitive.

Has not been helpful at all with regulations and with a name like Energy safe Victoria you'd expect concerned dedicated help. Like most, the buck is passed. Nobody wants to bother. Time for a coffee. So government heads please Kick some butt or make a new office with staff that help people with the energy regulation questions.

I feel like people would only review a regulator such as Energy Safe Victoria after a bad experience.  I am here to change this :  As a licensed plumber ESV provide me with the best support I could ask for.  The technical helpline are amazing, Len Barker in particular has provided amazing advice in complex scenarios and his experience in the Gas field is second to none.  The GasTrac software is actually user friendly and has been great to use  Thanks to the ESV Gas team

hopeless i had a problem with a dodgy electrician he returned six times to fix his errors.the unit would not start then it would stop then it restart finally it nearly caught fire.i hired an electrical inspector he condemmed and tagged it do not start dangerous wireing contact energy safe.ha ha they were hopeless did not do any checking just removed the power line tothe unit stating the power point was not secured.that little efort will cost me $200 to replace.how can you repair the unit without power .this electrican is not licence but their report to me was not enough information to proceed they are a joke
