This is a OVER PRICED...COCKROACH INFESTED ..place to stay...14 stairs to climb to get access to the front door..the Hand Rail and the Steps are UNSAFE..I Specifically asked the owner Mr Moses Price about stairs...WAS THERE ANY.? as I had a Hip Replacement..we got NO ANSWER to the inquiry...you hire the place for a week, just two middle aged ladies...do we get to choose which bedroom we EACH SELECTED TO SLEEP IN....NO.....because..this African owner Mr Moses Price LOCKS...the doors on every other room in house..but the Bathroom Door would not even stay Closed.. No Blinds on any of the windows...No Clothes Dryer...the Outside Deck is out in ALL the weather as is the BBQ... BECAUSE THERE IS NO Covering.over the Outdoor Deck... rendering it Unusable..in poor weather...the Deck had a Hole in it covered with a rug...No outside chairs.to sit on as it is all out in the weather..the yard is Dangerous with broken Steps...To Access the Clothes line...the Deck has No Safety Ropes...OVER $1600...for a week...then he demanded.. a $500-00 bond.. that takes 3 weeks to get back in to your bank account on Vacating the premises ...with No Blinds on any of the windows...this house is NOISY because it is on a Very Busy Road..Therefore​ Your Sleep is Broken...IT IS COLD with No Blinds to Help keep the Cold Out... it has so many rules that all COST on top of the exorbitant cost of the weekly lease..so Much so we took our Rubbish with us Rather than use the rubbish bins to the property.. a very STEEP Drive way...to an Entrance that is not well Marked or with Lighting... are the 14 Stairs to the Property.. HAS NO DECENT LIGHTING.. ALL IN ALL A VERY DISAPPOINTING STAY..

I stayed at the Eltham Retreat for our wedding in January 2017. House was a bit hard to find (3 uturns later) but once we got there, place was beautiful. Modern kitchen, bedrooms standard, good size, ensuite bathroom modern also and spacious. Spa bath in bathroom, we didnt know if jets were faulty, or we just couldnt figure out setup. Views from balcony were amazing! Backyard was also quite beautiful. When it rains the table and chairs got wet (no shelter just mesh) but on wedding day was sunny and sun hits certain parts of backyard looked so magical, we had a few photos taken by our photographer out there. Expect to see lots of possums late in the night out the back. They were climbing on the poles right next to the table and got so close, was so amazing to watch. The host Moses was very friendly and courteous, made our stay easy and organised everything. I was very happy with the service overall and would definately recommend this place to others to stay. 5 stars. Holly

Nice place, well constructed. Hard to find as the number of the house is very faded!
