Story

ECA Maritime College RTO # 31344 is an innovative college offering students a wide selection of courses and delivery opportunities. We currently have two locations, our head office in Cairns and our second campus located in the Heart of the Brisbane Port and shipping companies located at the Rivergate Marina.

Mission

Our mission is to offer our students a unique learning platform and offer students paid positions while studying their course. We have another division of the company Maritime Commercial Services already delivery vessels around the Coast of Australia and hope to introduce some international work in the near future.

I have recently completed my MED 1 course with ECA. I found ECA a pleasure to deal with and being able to attend lectures via Zoom a massive advantage especially living in New Zealand. Furthermore, being able to complete the course in a little over 4 weeks compared to 8 to 13 weeks elsewhere is a huge benefit. The lecturers were great as was the course content. I highly recommend doing your course through them especially if you are in NZ and face ridiculously lengthy courses stretched out to obtain more govt funding.
I attended this school last year in a Master&lt;24NC course. I am now certified and confident having done so. I am so grateful that I was able to be at ECA for the course with the knowledgeable help of tutors and admin staff. I learned valuable skills while learning at my own pace. If you want to give yourself a stellar education while nurturing the growth, to become a confident master then I encourage you to seek out ECA. The online course made living in Aotearoa New Zealand easy without the challenges of attending in class sessions. I look forward to doing another course with ECA soon. Tamati
Kelly Harvie and her team at ECA Maritime College recently provided an amazing, almost bespoke service, in meeting an urgent requirement to have one of our deckhands qualified as a MC5 &lt;24 Mtrs NC skipper. The colleges follow-up, attention to detail and level of customer service was brilliant from the get-go. Can highly recommend.
I highly recommend the team at ECA. Earlier this year I completed the MED1 course with Mat and I enjoyed the learning style that much that I came back for Master&lt;45 with Harry. Kelly was fantastic with providing all of information required and I am grateful for the experience.

I completed my Master 4 with ECA back in 2013 l had to study around my work commitments. Both Harry and Kelly were excellent and I can't recommend ECA highly enough.
Having recently completed my MED2 course via online learning, to say I was impressed with the exceptionally high quality of both the course content and instructors would be an understatement. The whole process from enrolment, completing the assignments, exams and the attending the AMPA practical in Brisbane was made simple with the high level of professionalism that Kelly and her team displayed. Not only would I highly recommend this training team and their courses I'm excited to be undertaking my MED1 course and others in the near future. Again many thanks to the whole ECA team.
Great experience with these guys. the flexibility of the online course worked well for me. the course did not progress until everyone was ready to move on and recorded for later reflection. also Harry is a weapon.
