Absolutely so easy to navigate the booking, payment and collection and return of the vehicle.nThe off airport site is not a problem as the shuttle service is extremely quick and good.nThe price I paid was way below competitors and that included full payment of excess waiver.nThe MG 5 vehicle was a delight to drive and very economical.nFrom my experience, I can thoroughly recommend.
Appreciated the airport shuttle pick up that made an easy collect. Car was great to drive, clean and allowed accessibility with unlimited KMs to travel around Tasmania.nnDisappointed there were lots more unexpected costs when we arrived and had to pay. Was informed it would be cheaper going direct instead of through a 3rd party.
Had initial reservations about using east coast car rentals for the first time but decided to give it a try anyway as their Family SUV rental package was prized competitively. Was pleasantly surprised with their service. From airport pickup to getting our rental car, everything was a breeze. Very happy with the Hyundai Tucson which was clean and maintained in good condition. Recommend.
I'm giving 5 stars for the car that we've got for 4 days family of 5 and also serviced was satisfied, I had issues understanding their insurance policy because I've booked through a third party website so it causes a lot of unnecessary stress when picking up the car so I recommended to book through them and do not buy insurance from other sites!!nAnd the staffs if you do see this review I do apologise for my behaviour we had the best time in Tassie and will be back..
Start with the conclusion. As a satisfied customer, I would highly recommend this company. We hired a Toyota hybrid from them for our two-week holiday at the end of September, and the car was reliable. The staff were friendly and helpful. For peace of mind, we purchased the 'ultimate' insurance with $0 liability, meaning that when we returned the car, we could simply drop the key off and catch our flight. Their cars were not at the airport. However, they provided a free shuttle bus to take us to and from the airport. For us, this was absolutely worth it as it helped us save significantly on car hire costs.
